GTA Vice City Hidden Packages: All 100 Locations & Every Reward

Hidden packages are the main collectible in GTA Vice City — 100 small blue star icons hidden across the city's two islands, rooftops, underwater and inside buildings. Collecting them isn't just for completionists: the weapon rewards they unlock at your safe houses are genuinely useful and save you a lot of money on armaments.

Finding all 100 nets you $100,000 in cash and unlocks every reward. More importantly, it counts toward 100% completion.

Rewards for Collecting Packages

Every 10 packages you collect, a new weapon spawns at all of your safe houses permanently. Once spawned, those weapons respawn every 24 in-game hours — effectively giving you unlimited ammo for free.

The Hunter helicopter at 100 packages is one of the most powerful vehicles in the game — it has a cannon and missiles and makes many later missions trivially easy.

Vice Point Area (Beach Side)

Vice Point sits along the eastern beach strip of the first island. Packages here are often in or near the water, on hotel rooftops, and behind shops along the strip. Some highlights:

• One package is inside the pool of the Malibu Club — you'll need to jump the fence after hours or walk through the front door.
• Two packages are on the beach itself, partially buried between sun loungers. They're easy to spot at night due to the blue glow.
• A package sits on top of the lighthouse at the southern tip of Vice Point. You can reach it by helicopter or by climbing the spiral staircase inside.
• Behind the Shuman Health building there's a package wedged between the AC units on the ground level. Easy to miss because it's in a small gap between walls.

Downtown & North Point Mall

Downtown is dense and vertical — lots of packages are on rooftops or inside multi-level buildings.

• Three packages are inside the North Point Mall, accessible once you enter. Two are on the ground floor near the shop entrances, one is on the upper level near the cinema.
• One is on top of the Hyman Memorial Stadium roof. You need a helicopter or the unique jump ramp at the back to reach it.
• The hospital area near the south of downtown has two packages close together — one in the car park, one behind the building near the ambulance bay.
• A package sits on the building roof east of the Ammu-Nation in downtown. Take any helicopter and land there.

Little Haiti & Little Havana

These areas on the west side of the first island are gritty, industrial and full of narrow alleys. Packages here often require you to check behind dumpsters and inside junkyards.

• Boomshine Sam's yard near Little Haiti has a package hidden behind a stack of drums near the fence line — you can see it from the road if you look carefully.
• One package is inside the closed laundromat in Little Havana. Walk through the front entrance.
• Behind the Sunshine Autos garage there are two packages tucked into the corners of the lot. Easy to find once you own the property.
• Checking under the highway overpass that runs through Little Haiti reveals two packages — one on each side of the pillars.

Prawn Island & Starfish Island

Prawn Island has the film studio and a handful of packages hidden around the film sets. Starfish Island is the affluent area with mansions — packages are often in back gardens and by pools.

• Inside the Interglobal Films studio lot, four packages are hidden across different film sets — the Tarbrush Café, the jungle set, and behind the main building.
• On Starfish Island, packages are tucked behind several of the mansion gardens. Walk the perimeter road and check each garden entrance.
• One package is on a small island visible from the bridge south of Prawn Island. You need a boat or helicopter to reach it.

Tips for Finding All 100 Efficiently

• Use a helicopter. Once you have access to the second island, a chopper lets you reach rooftop packages quickly and cross water to island packages. The Maverick helicopter spawns reliably outside the police station in Downtown.
• Track your count. Your progress is shown in the pause menu statistics. Check it regularly so you know how many remain.
• Go underwater for the ocean packages. About 10 packages are in shallow water around the city's coast. Use the boat to get close, then swim. Tommy can hold his breath for a reasonably long time.
• Don't skip the second island. You can't access it until about a third of the way through the story, but it has around 40 packages. Don't try to 100% the first island before unlocking the second — you'll end up doubling back.
• Check all building interiors. Several packages are inside buildings that look closed from the outside but can be entered via a side door or back entrance.
