GTA Vice City introduced motorcycles to the 3D GTA series for the first time, and they quickly became many players' preferred way to get around. Bikes are faster through tight streets, easier to handle for stunt jumps, and essential for the Pizza Boy and courier side missions. Here's every motorcycle in the game, ranked by usefulness.
The PCJ-600 is the best motorcycle in Vice City by a significant margin. Inspired by a Kawasaki Ninja, it's the fastest bike in the game on open roads and handles beautifully at high speed. It's the recommended vehicle for all 36 unique stunt jumps, the Pizza Boy mission, and any time you need to cross the city quickly.
Where to find it: One spawns reliably on the pavement outside the Ocean Beach hotel near Tommy's first safe house — it's almost always there when you start the game. Also appears on the street near the Malibu Club in Vice Point, and commonly spotted across Vice Point at night.
Best for: Stunt jumps, courier missions, escaping police, general travel. The PCJ-600 is genuinely one of the best vehicles in the entire game regardless of category.
The Angel is Vice City's chopper-style motorcycle — a big, low cruiser inspired by a Harley-Davidson. It looks incredible and fits the 1980s Miami vibe perfectly. It's not the fastest bike, but it has excellent stability at moderate speeds and takes more damage before exploding than most bikes.
Where to find it: Parked outside bars and clubs around Vice Point and the beach strip. Also spawns near the Malibu Club. One reliably appears outside the biker gang's bar in Little Havana.
Best for: Cruising the city, style points, missions where durability matters more than outright speed.
The Sanchez is a dirt bike — light, nimble and excellent on rough terrain, grass and unpaved surfaces. On city streets it's slower than the PCJ-600, but anywhere off-road it's unbeatable. The Vigilante mission on a Sanchez is much easier than in any car because it can cut across any terrain.
Where to find it: Common near golf courses, parks and the scrubland areas on the west island. Also used in specific missions that require off-road traversal.
Best for: Off-road travel, cutting through parks, some Vigilante routes. The Sanchez also handles the unique stunt jumps well because of its light weight.
Another Harley-style cruiser, the Freeway is heavier than the Angel and slightly slower. It handles more like a car than a typical motorcycle — very stable, resistant to bumps, but not particularly agile. It's the bike Tommy rides in several cutscenes.
Where to find it: Spawns near the pool halls and bars in Little Havana and Little Haiti. Less common than the Angel but found in the same types of areas.
Best for: Long straight roads, situations where you need bike but prefer stability to agility.
A naked sport bike with a raw, aggressive look. Faster than the Angel and Freeway, slower than the PCJ-600. Handles well enough for most situations and looks great on the beach strip.
Where to find it: Spawns on the east island's beach roads, occasionally parked near the hotels in Vice Point. Less common than the PCJ-600 but not rare.
The Faggio is a small moped — laughably slow but strangely charming. No one uses it seriously for travel, but it's required for the Pizza Boy side mission (you need to be on the correct vehicle type to start the mission). If you want to deliver pizzas, you need a Faggio or the correct pizza scooter variant.
Where to find it: Parked outside pizza shops, scattered around Ocean Beach and Washington Beach. Also spawns near the Vice Surf Beach areas.
The Pizza Boy isn't a different model — it's a Faggio with a delivery box on the back. Riding it triggers the Pizza Boy side mission, which requires 55 deliveries for 100% completion. It's slow and handles terribly but delivers delicious fictional pizza.
Where to find it: Spawns outside the Well Stacked Pizza restaurant near the corner of Ocean Beach. Check there first — it respawns after a short wait if it's not there.
